The program curriculum begins with a hot air balloon festival in the United States. The following four lessons are filled with children's literature and activities as each new region is explored. Within our current program, students visit festivals in: Kenya, Japan, India, and France.
Read AloudCultured Kids believes that it is important to be culturally sensitive and consider inclusiveness when choosing literature to support students. The following are a sample of more than thirty books that have been carefully selected to support this program.

Activity BooksAn Atlas Activity Book and Adventure Book accompany the program curriculum to enhance student learning and engagement during the program.
Family Exploration activities were also designed to support parent-child exploration and discussion at home. |
Long-term ProjectsThe program curriculum provides daily activities as well as long-term projects that culminate with the completion of the program.
Detailed instructions are provided for two long-term art projects, each with varying levels of difficulty. This will provide versatility to educators as they select the best implementation with their class, considering time and resources. |
